This Raya weekend was supposed to be filled with visits to Raya celebrations at friend and family’s homes but instead we are homebound because I lost the fight to one of Tee’s dreaded ‘brought home from school’ diseases. *sniff*

No kuih Raya for me. No rendang. No lemang. No laksa. No Raya cookies. No curries. No cookies. No cookies. No cookies. *sob*

This morning, we were out of bed before 9am and all I’ve done is read, watched TV and opened my laptop. Tee did some finger painting, toothbrush painting, played some playdoh, talked to her Ama in Kota Bharu, had a shower and irritated the shit out of everyone. The Hubs prepared us breakfast and then cleaned the entire home.

We’ll see if I’m well enough to go out for tomorrow’s Raya visiting.
