We were invited to dine at this famous or growingly famous non-halal Chinese restaurant in Solaris who now have a few branches and branching out in other cities too, mind you. I must say, we had a very satisfying meal. When they first started out, the food was really good. Then they went downhill a bit and I was disappointed because really, how many non-halal restaurants are there near my house? But recently, they’ve sprung back to perfection and offer the best roast pork in town. They also do a damn good tim sum in the mornings.
Now, you may wonder why a halal couple are dining at a non-halal restaurant? Well, they sat at a corner and all the pork was laid out on MY side. Heh. Oh, and err….they didn’t drink that wine either. Honest.
And I have no food photos because I am not a food blogger. Ok, ok….I was too hungry and too busy eating that there was no time for food photography. We’ll definitely go back for more. YUMMY!
