Last week, we went to a friend’s house which we almost never go to as it is so far but we’ve been there several times. I went alone with T1 and left T2 with the Hubs (I’m loving my days with T1 ALONE!!!) and I told her that I needed to concentrate on the road so to please not talk so much or I’d get lost.

And so she started her nagging.

“Mommy, why is it we’ve been there so many times and you still don’t know the way?”

“We haven’t been there so many times and besides, this is only my 2nd time driving there.”

“No??? We have been there MORE than 2 times. We have been there many times!!”

“Ya, but Daddy usually drives. This is only my 2nd time driving there, OK?”

“No??? We have been there many times! I am sure of that. We have been there so many times.”

“Yes, aren’t you listening? I said this is my SECOND time driving although we’ve been there several times.”

“No??? We have been there many times. I am really sure of that!” she continues in her BOSSY tone. Is she listening or what?!

“T1!! Listen to me. We have been there lots of times OK? But Mommy did NOT drive. Daddy drove.”

“Well, when Daddy drives, you should FOCUS. Don’t dream and look around. Focus on the directions so you will know where to go next time!”

Whoa! Look who’s telling me to focus!! I’m impressed she knows how to apply the word, LOL!
