Reiki principles

baby

Just for today, I shall not be angry.

Just for today, I shall not worry.

I will always be kind to people, animals and the Universe.

I will always work hard with honesty and perseverance.

I will always be thankful for everything that I have.

The hardest Reiki principle for me to abide by is the first. Because do you know how many people piss me off on a daily basis? I’ll admit I’m not the most patient person. And that will be my downfall……

Simple things like asking a question and not getting a response. What is so difficult about that? Yes or no? I try really hard to assure myself that people have their hang-ups. So be it. It still pisses me off nonetheless. Sometimes, the answer could be as simple as “I don’t want you to know.” Then, say it! I don’t like ostriches. No, I don’t. They are cowards.

I also want you to know that I am not competing with you. Neither are my children, nor my husband. So stop comparing. We are doing the best that we can do, the best way we know how. I swear, if anybody asks me what Tee got for her UPSR or SPM or whatever exam she takes in the future, I will give you the third degree and make you so embarrass and sorry you ever asked. For what does it matter how many A’s Tee got versus how many A’s your kid got? Who the fuck cares?!! Motherhood is a bloody tough job. Let us concentrate on bringing up a future generation of useful people. They don’t necessarily have to score A’s.

Even people who are extremely nice to me piss me off. Don’t you find it weird when someone you hardly know is extra, extra, extra nice? Excuse my cynicism but what’s your agenda? Perhaps my strong gut feel just separates the genuine from the fake.

And you. Please just accept that I have a good life. Do not be jealous. I do not know what I did to deserve this but I obviously did something right. Go right ahead and bitch that I am the arrogant one. I love being the fodder for gossip.

So what has brought about this bitch mood, you may wonder……

In history, only 2% of postpartum women who exclusively breastfeed their babies get their periods within 6 months of delivery. I just happen to be a part of that 2% and got my 1st period when T2 was 3 months old. Yes, that was not too long back. With Tee, I got my 1st period after 14 months.

I hate the world!!!

  1. LOL. Someone or something must have pissed you really bad!

Hey, I haven’t had my period yet (my baby is 13 months old already) and I still have those PMS moments too. 😀

I salute you though coz you trash it out. Most of the times I keep it in or bitch to the hubby (and he claims I take it out on him and the kids).

    Hope you’re feeling better now!

  2. wait wait… Remember the first principle!

Eh..am I one of those you hate, ar? Coz, I didn’t get my period 2 months after I stopped bfeeding. Yes…she must hate me. But to justify, I did have PND. So.. it all balances out. ;D

  3. PMSing eh. I’m part of the 2% too. Got it when my baby is 6mo. 🙁 I think God wants us to have more babies lar coz we are such a good mom. hehehehe.

  4. Wow it was one of those days huh? I get them too but I don’t get angry though. I get so depressed that I hate the world too. I’m happy that you are living a privileged life. Everyone is to a certain extent – just that most of them are too busy bitching about what they DON’T have, to fully appreciate what they do.
