You know, if there could be more things I could be blessed with, I really do not know what they could be. Having an easy baby? Having the fittest body and looking absolutely gorgeous after pregnancy? Not having to worry about money? I’m not even wishing…..

The helper has been great, and despite everyone telling me that I really can’t make a review so soon (which is very true), so far, she’s been great. She is well-mannered, clever, is good with children, is very clean, knows the basics of cooking, and is hard-working (so far).

I have given her a schedule from 630am to 9pm with an hour break after lunch to nap or rest, and then smaller breaks during meal times and tea time. She effectively cleans for 4-5 hours every day, cooks for 3 hours and uses the remaining time to do other stuff like laundry, playing with Tee, organising cupboards, or some heavy duty stuff (like cleaning the ceiling fans and lights). We also got her an alarm clock radio which I think she was happy with because she loves music.

Apart from that, I have also given her a list of HOUSE RULES and the frequency that household chores need to be completed plus a list of recipes that she needs to learn. I have given her a notebook to write all the recipes down and whatever else she needs to jot for learning purposes. Thankfully, she is also a fast learner. Seriously, I can’t think of any complaint! Yet. She is very obedient and compliant, no attitude, what more can I ask for?!

Her only request so far is she asked if she could call her daughter on her birthday and to deduct the bill from her salary. We agreed. Fingers crossed that all goes well from here.

The other day, when she saw me carrying something, she immediately came to help. Tee bullies her though and doesn’t allow her to feed her, bathe her nor tie her hair. She is so spoilt, she only wants Mommy to do it. But she will accept her as a play-mate or a story reader when she is desperate. However, when I am just not feeling up to it, then I tell Tee she has absolutely NO CHOICE. I shall keep praying that all goes smoothly and that we can keep her for 4 years which is her plan to save up money for her daughter’s college fees.
