Creating your desired life is totally possible for the majority of us, especially if you are one reading this because obviously someone with no access to the internet probably can’t and someone who cannot even read, won’t be able to learn how UNLESS they actually did learn to listen, understand and have access to the internet. I am sure there are many other formulas to do this but I know for a fact, that mine, is a guaranteed one for many moms like myself who has that true desire to create their desired life and are willing to apply what is learnt.

What stops people is a ton of excuses and a plethora of limiting beliefs. There, I said it. YOU limit yourself because of the reasons you tell yourself why it cannot be done and you block your own path of your own success, whatever success may mean for you.

“But how can I trust you?”, your cautious self may question. Or, “But you are you and I am not you so quite likely, I cannot do what you did.”

That is false.

With my experience in business and after communicating with so many people from all walks of life, I will hand on heart tell you that it IS possible. And if you are willing to challenge me with every single excuse or belief system you have, bring it on and I will show you otherwise.

I have come full circle now and my husband is well and truly RETIRED from full time employment. Yup. We no longer earn an income from what is dictated by a BOSS, and we no longer get EPF too; we are officially both UNEMPLOYED. We can still holiday wherever whenever we want on business (my little thing because I am so short), get both our kids educated at the top Universities anywhere (if they get in, haha) and live comfortably till retirement. Eh? We have retired. I mean, till….we reach the age of 80? Although hopefully 100.

It has been…..Freaking AMAZING.

I have not been this happy since my daughters were born and so if you were to ask me when my happiest life moments were? It is the day I got married to my soulmate, the day T1 was born, the day T2 was born and TODAY. Because it has been 2.5 months now that my husband has been home with me 24/7 (my absolute dream come true) and we get to enjoy our lives together and grow together along the same path. I mean, can you imagine being with your soulmate whenever wherever? It is different if you had a husband who wasn’t the yin to your yang but mine completely completes me. (Side note : this is for the girl who told everyone that our relationship would never last, it would never work out; what in the world would inspire anyone to say that, I wonder….but she stays unmarried and I am where I am. Shrugs. I do feel guilt, don’t get me wrong because I do want the best for everyone truly)

And previously, I would always question – what did I do to deserve thissssssssSSSSS??????

Now, it is….

I earned it. Yup. I totally earned it. I read. I invested. I put in the hours. I received everything that came my way and dealt with adversity whenever it showed up. I pivoted. I strategised. I worked hard. I helped. I was sincere. I had grit. I never undercut anyone nor hurt anyone intentionally. I did everything honestly with integrity and perseverance and determination despite the odds. It wasn’t an easy journey but with the rewards, it was totally worth it. I still have a good 50 more years to enjoy this in full force and can’t help thinking how blessed all those girls who are years younger than myself who have followed my path are; just because they have even more years to enjoy this blessed space.

To the haters, bless you. And I really mean it from the bottom of my heart.

It has been an amazing ride. I have learnt so much. I could write a book of experiences that I know would help so many people; in their relationships, in their careers, in their self discovery, in life!

But for now, I am just enjoying the moment and learning to NOT WORK because hello, I have been working all my life till now so, I deserve this break. And it is something I do not know how to do!

I am so very grateful for the loyal friendships that carried me here. Soon, I will be pulling them up with me because I want to see more women have this freedom of life too. It is such an incredible gift from God. No words would be able to describe my depth of gratitude but I know exactly what I need to do to pay it forward. And so…..

I will be back blogging again to document again my life with TEENAGERS now!!!! They are so fun!!! Everyday, I laugh uncontrollably because of them, my 2 girls, but let me save that for another day….
