I’m back!

I have been away from the computer for the last 6 weeks, can you believe it? It has been bloody boring……..

So, the vomiting has ceased. Thank you for all your prayers. I was so afraid it was going to last 6 months like when I had Tee but thankfully, God was kinder this time round. I had a week of severe pain due to stomach acid but that too has ceased. Then I had diarrhea for a week, possibly due to Nandos chillies and here I am now, with gestational diabetes. I have been warned that I will need to jab myself with insulin daily soon. I am already pricking my finger 3 times a day to check my sugar levels. My fingers are full of holes! I see a dietician this week to work out how I can control this diabetes thing. Other than that, all is good.

Tee has been coping very well at school and my gut feel is that she is going to be a darling of a big sister. She was initially a little concerned about the new baby but she seems to have adjusted to the idea and talks continuously to the baby. She even tells the baby she loves her every night with a little tummy kiss before she goes to bed. Ain’t that sweet???

My best friend from London is moving to Hong Kong this August, how cool is that? I can’t wait. Disneyland, here we come again!

I can’t post any pictures right now because I’m using a computer without the pictures but boy, do we have so much to catch up on!

My new maid arrives in a month or two. I can’t believe I am actually going to have a stranger living in my house. Let’s hope I chose the right woman. I am praying hard.

So tell me, how are you????????

  8. Hi I loved your article. I think that it is important when discussing diabetes to at least point out natural treatments that have been shown to be effective in controlling high blood glucose. Numerous natural herbs can be including in a diabetics routine that will help maintain a wholesome glucose level.
