For logistical reasons, I drove my Mom and Tee to the party that was held at a public venue. And because it was a thunderstorm, we were instructed by phone to park right in front. But when we did with my humble Japanese car, the security came up very quickly to chase us off.

“Excuse me, Mam. The President is here tonight and this is his parking spot.”

My Mom, the super cool woman (and to this day, I would never be able to do something like that) goes, “It’s quite alright. I am the President’s wife.”

So amidst all the very important gentlemen and proper behaviour (Tee is only here because I requested for permission to bring her, the Hubs was working late and I had no babysitter), this is what the President’s wife and her grandchild get up to!!!
