Masyallah! My little baby turns 6 this Saturday!!! I used to think of her as the devil and have many a time felt like throwing her out the window or into the trash but lately, I must admit that I am loving her more and more and more because she has the sweetest heart too, like her sister, and knows exactly how to melt mine. Don’t get me wrong, she can send me palpitating too! But yeah, since she was the devil previously, I have noticed a marked improvement in her behaviour. A sure sign that my baby is growing up. I love her so much. She knows how to say the right things at the right time to melt my heart. Really. She is extremely in tune with her emotions and because of that, I think she will get far. High EQ. But lazy. Just like her Mama. Yikes. The Hubs keeps saying how much we are alike. Spoilt, drama queens who love delegating but get their ways with the boys. Sorry!!!

This year we are having a much scaled down birthday party for T2 as compared to last year and invited 1 friend. But at the 11th hour, she decided that she wanted to invite her sister’s friends. LOL!!! I wonder why!!! So weird!! But since it is her birthday, whatever right? Whatever to make my princess happy. So we have tomorrow a few above 10 girls and one 6 year old. LOL!! She switched from starting with an Elsa Frozen theme to wanting a Lego theme and back to Elsa again, so I got my childhood friend whom I have not seen since we were kids to make T2’s 6th birthday cake! I am so excited to see her again tomorrow!!! I hope she doesn’t faint from seeing how large I am 30 years later. I did not want to attempt an Elsa cake (apart from having no time) but T1 has absolutely BOOKED me to hand bake her birthday cake under no circumstance can I get away with it. Heh. I can bake them a cake anytime and I do so what is the big deal about baking a birthday cake? Some years I do it, some years I don’t. Variety is the spice of life says me.

This year I also bought some Elsa themed goodies from Spotlight (awesome!) and got the Hubs to decorate the home with princess streamers and balloons. Simple. I’m sure she will be very happy. I am also cooking this year unless I run out of time and decide to buy food from outside instead. Hahahaha…..speaking of which, I better plan T1’s birthday tradition soon!

I had a superbly productive day today. I was up at 6 as I usually am, did some work and then sent the girls to school with the Hubs and had brekkie after. When I came home, I worked again then headed to the office to do a few registrations, did a delivery, rushed to pick the girls up from school, brought them for a fabulous swim play date, went out to meet a customer and finally came home at 10pm. The Hubs picked the kids up from their play date. They were having the time of their lives in what I thought was the most beautiful home. If I had a house, that would be exactly how I would design my house. Cosy, warm with extra special extras everywhere. I had a beautiful chat with my friend and gave her a lot of love.

 

Later when I met my customer, I was so thankful that the family turned out to be such a beautiful family (you never know who you may meet, right?). Actually, majority of my customers are amazing. I am extremely blessed to get such beautiful customers. They belong to the spectacular category of people. I remember 7 years ago whilst having this conversation about people with a tycoon, we both agreed that so few people were actually normal. Everyone had some kind of hangup or some past or some chip on their shoulder or some shit like that. Seriously!!! So when I meet lovely people, I am always very grateful. They trust me, they listen, they follow, they heal and they are grateful. I think positive energy attract positive people. And if you were unhappy about something, it would then be a challenge to attract that same kind of energy back. I truly believe that.
