I always wonder how I manage to do so much sometimes but always wonder too why the frigging work NEVER ends. Why? Why? Why? If I retired, would it be the same? And the answer to that is a sounding yes, because it is ingrained in my type-A psychotic personality that I just have to keep busy all the time! But a part of me really, truly wants to retire. We need to put a stop to this at some point. I want to travel the world and actually discussed this with a good friend last night but he said I should only do it during the school holidays. Bah. How conventional.
If you know me, you’d know that I’d be game to pull my kids out of school for a few months, put a knife to the Hub’s neck and say, “LET’S GO. NOW!!”
Decisions. Decisions.
So perhaps we start small and do our world expedition every school holiday first. Gosh, which year would we actually complete it then? There are only so many holidays in a year……Pffft.
My work desk is piled up with paper. My emails are trailing unread. I need another of me. That’s what I need. Someone who can trail blaze as fast and as varied the tasks that I take on. If only.
