The Hubs and I went to watch Batman last night and were forced to buy Gold Class tickets as there were no other options. It was our first time, so allow me to share with you what a RM60 Gold Class movie ticket means.

Before the movie starts, you get to sit and wait in plush sofas and chairs whilst enjoying food and drink (which you pay for) and you get to use the very clean swanky washrooms that include those automatic plastic lined toilet seats which rotates. Even the foam soap dispenser is automatic, just put your hand under and zoop! foam soap squirts out. Very spacious, very clean. It even has dressing tables to touch up your make-up (you bring your own, of course).

Then when you enter (only 36 seats if I’m not mistaken), you get the most comfortable automatic reclining chair that is not only wide but can recline to sleeping position. On top of that, you get a pillow and a duvet as it is VERY cold in there. You are separated from your partner by a hippopotamus so forget about holding hands and you get a free drink (options include soft drinks or water. That’s it. No coffee) that you can place on the table between the two of you. You can also bring in hot food (which again is over and above) into the cinema lounge and eat whilst you watch the movie although you wouldn’t be able to see what you eat.

All in all, it was a very comfortable experience and I would definitely return should the budget permit 🙂
