I wanted to make vegetables more appealing to the kids so decided to use my packet breadcrumbs to coat the vegetables to make it seem like a vegetable tempura but failed to follow a recipe and just winged it.

I did dip the carrot sticks into an egg mix before dumping them into the breadcrumbs but have now found out that you really need to mix corn flour and cold water in order to form a batter first for real tempura.

Deep Fried!!! VERY unhealthy!!! But OK if it’s done once a month.

Not exactly vegetable tempura but it still had some crunchy bits which made the vegetables more sinful.
