This is the latest piece I handed over to MamaBabyWorld last month about Keeping Our Children Safe in Kuala Lumpur.

I think many parents take their children’s safety for granted and after the recent kidnap attempts (there have been several unreported cases after Nayati, mind you), we cannot afford to be lackadaisical with our kids any more. Not if you want to lose them that is. Kidnappers now think it’s an easy chance to make a quick buck and are targeting schools with easy escape routes where the schools front a main road where speeding away is easy.

I’m not kidding about the more kidnap attempts in KL. There have been more.
