When I’d first started out in the work force, Tok-Tok had given me a CJ briefcase that was sturdy, brown and hard. It doubled up as a weapon as anyone who crossed my line would easily get whacked on their head by the heavy boxed briefcase. Just imagine me, fresh in my twenties entering the work force and carrying this. It was very useful, mind you, carrying a lot of paper work to my then first company, Hijjas Kasturi.
Later, I got myself something lighter, a soft briefcase from Celine. It looked a bit like this but not quite this. Mine was much nicer…….and I use it till today. My Boss thinks he pays me too much.
Later, I got myself a Mulberry in a gorgeous grey blue but because I’m too lazy to go take a picture, I’ll show it to you in another colour. Still a gorgeous colour! If I could afford it I would have bought two!
This leather briefcase fits my laptop perfectly BUT I’ don’t feel comfortable that it will hold its weight! So now I’m thinking, shall I go get a black, practical TUMI bag instead for work??? It’s pointless carrying a stylish bag when I have to keep worrying if my laptop is going to crash, right???
TUMI – I must go check them out soon. Yet another reason for me to go shopping research.
