Playhouse Disney Event at KLCC

Wow! This IS a very back dated post! Gotta catch up! Gotta catch up!

Last year, we were invited to attend a cool safety event organised by Playhouse Disney at Petrosains. For T1’s benefit, I brought her to have some fun and hopefully learn something about safety. And not only did she learn, I learnt too!

Check out T1’s dress sense. Yellow and grey jumpsuit shorts with Mr Men stripy socks and silver sequined pumps. Silver sparkly hairband and pink water bottle as accessories. Remember those days when she was 3-4 years old with her trademark of wearing mismatched Crocs? She had like 15 pairs of Crocs both real and fake!!!

.

The crowd. See? She’s having fun. It was a big crowd.

.

They displayed the importance of wearing your safety belt with a teddy bear going down an incline on a toddler’s push car.

.

That’s what happened to the bear without putting on his safety belt. Beware, kids!

.

So everyone said to put the safety belt on. This little boy was so cute. Kept walking up on stage to take pictures.

.

T1 worked so hard to get a prize. She knew every answer that was asked but despite how high her hands went, she was never chosen until the final moment. I was starting to feel bad for her. I thought that this part of the event should have been better organised, not that I wanted T1 to win a prize at all, but there were many disappointed children that day. There must be a fair way to give out the prizes. Some kids at the front got prizes several times and those at the back didn’t stand a chance. This isn’t a difficult problem to solve, just required a bit of thought.

The good part? I got to meet some new people but looking like this, with my hair ala frazzled Mom, it’s no wonder why nobody has kept in touch. My Mom was right. Whenever you go out, comb your hair and put some lipstick on.

Thank you Playhouse Disney for entertaining T1 that day! Very grateful.
