Addictions run deep in our family. I’m addicted to food. Period. T1 is addicted to fun. The Hubs is addicted to his girls (and that includes me, thank you. At least, that’s what he tells me!) and T2 is addicted to that DVD Player that connects to component video cables sitting on our TV cabinet. She wants to watch Barney ALL DAY but she hardly ever watches Barney per se! She just wants to hear Barney’s voice all day long and because we’ve been slack in getting a new audio player for the living room, she doesn’t know any better.
In fact, she is so well versed with the DVD player and we never even taught her how to use it (she merely learnt through observation) that she is the DVD Queen of the household. She will dictate what DVD goes in and can change DVD’s like there’s no tomorrow. I told the Hubs, “Please don’t expect the DVD player to last much longer…..” but he was totally fine with it.
