I have always dreamed of working in retail because I love fashion and love art and all the fun and exciting arty ideas that a retail job would bring with it but I’ve had some close friends in retail who say that it is bloody hard work!! And it is. Don’t let the glamour fool you. Just think carrying boxes and moving stores of make up or clothes around, for photo shoots and what not. The perks can be great. If you worked for Chanel at corporate level, you get to go to all the fashion shows in Paris, New York and Milan. If you worked at Estee Lauder, you get to attend workshops in New York. But it’s hard work. They work very, very long hours…….

Still that’s not to say jobs retail can’t be enjoyable!
