My mother is a big fan of jewellery. In fact, just tonight she bought some beautiful coloured stoned rings to beautify her slim fingers, not that they need any help. She believes strongly that wearing jewellery brings positive energies into your life. My friend’s mother who is a medical specialist who is about to retire also believes this and has started studying alternative medicine, auras and energies of the world.
Although I didn’t inherit my mother’s love for designer jewellery, Tee sure did! I guess she will be inheriting my mother’s collection of stones and baubles. If I were to wear anything at all, I’d wear some earings and at most, a ring; maybe a bracelet. And I definitely prefer silver jewellery to gold. I’m more of a modernist, a contemporary minimalist.
