Tee has had lots of opportunity to decorate Christmas trees at school so I asked the Hubs yesterday if we should bother bringing out the Christmas tree this year since we were going to be away for Christmas anyway. Of course, I was hoping the answer would be no because who do you think has to climb to find the tree and then all the boxes and boxes of christmas decorations in storage and face the avalanche of dust. And then fix the fake tree bla bla bla……
What was the Hubs answer?
Guess?
Bearing in mind that we can’t even see the floor to our apartment from the overload of stuff that we have, let alone the walls, even the Hubs realises that if we took out the Christmas tree this year, it’d have to be stacked upon a piece of furniture or hung from the ceiling. I am not kidding.
Have you guessed yet what the Hubs feels for the Christmas tree despite him not being remotely Christian?
“Bring it out. Do it for Tee.” he ordered. And since I have to have the last say to everything, I ordered him back that we really DO need a new, bigger house so we can fit a real Christmas tree and go shopping for NEW christmas decorations!!!
As always, my words seem to whiff at lightning speed through the tunnel that sits between his ears.
