Yes, on her birthday! She was so excited that she kept asking us to take her to the bank to bank in her check! I don’t think she even knew what it was…….but whatever.

I have always liked using checks ever since they were the ‘in’ thing in England but ever since I came back, I’ve never bothered to open a checking account because they make it so difficult here. However, if you’re in the United States or England, it is so much easier to open checking accounts. It sure beats having to carry a whole wad of cash around and credit cards and debit cards are not the safest form of transaction tools.
