Today, my Mother told me that she reads my blog. What? You heard right. My Mother reads my blog! Oh my God. Soon, the shit will hit the fan! Should I have expected anything less? Ever since she dabbled her toes into the pond of technology in the form of an Ipad, she’s been practising her swimming.

So I though she was going to give me a shelling on how dare you put that ugly picture of me there or how dare you say that of me, delete your blog immediately!!! and waited apprehensively for the slashing.

It came!

But it wasn’t for what I’d written about her. It was about my spelling. Oh my goodness. Betul-betul fail……

She said she read in some posts that I wrote bare instead of bear when I’d write bear with me……

Trust her to notice my imperfect English. I probably have the worse English in our whole family. Wait. No, that would be my youngest baby brother, muahahaha……..

I was embarrassed nevertheless because I pride myself in knowing when to use the simplicities of practise and practice, accept and except, may and can, emigrate and immigrate, farther and further, it’s and its, moral and morale……you get the drill. But then when it came to the simple bear with me, I’d been spelling it wrong. ARGHHH!!!!

FAIL. FAIL. FAIL.

I totally blame it on the epidurals!!!
