The kids and I visit a chiropractor regularly who also specialises in pediatric chiropractic treatment and I find it to be a wonderfully effective exercise. For starters, it cured T2’s severe constipation once and for all (in just one consultation, but because I am so paranoid now about ever having to go through that ordeal, I take her regularly). Remember all those years of sitting with her for hours in the toilet? Those days are now long gone.
As for T1, she doesn’t really have any problems per se apart from what I define as attitude issues! But I send her anyway because I think that we all are out of alignment in some way or other and can do with proper skilled adjustments.
This photo below shows just how misaligned T1 is. The Doctor told her to lie straight on the bed and she said that she was. After a short ding-dong about it, I realised that she really wasn’t kidding when she said she was lying straight. The reality of it was that her brain was telling her that her body was straight but in actual fact, it was not. But just look at the severity of it???? We kept pushing her legs straight to align with her body and she kept saying it wasn’t comfortable and that it wasn’t straight and would push her legs back to the left and say, now it’s straight!
This is usually caused by C-Section births, which I had (Emergency Caesarian with T1) and apparently the tugging of babies by Doctors sometimes cause problems in children and adults. These problems could be anything as far as causing learning disabilities in children and physical ailments to constipation etc. The reason is because in a C-section, it is the Doctor who manipulates the baby out and this is usually by pulling the baby out by his head. Depending on how gentle or rough or skilled the Doctor is, this could damage some nerves at the neck of the baby and result in…….whatever. This story however makes me believe that even a home birth is safer than leaving your unborn baby’s hands with the Doctor!
Seriously speaking, it’s not like I’ll ever have another child but since then I’ve read up a lot about C-Sections and believe it now to be very bad. It affects so many things that Doctors don’t tell you about so if you are pregnant and if you have a choice, for the best interest of your baby, go for a natural birth. There are painkillers and epidurals if you cannot take pain but do not do a C-section unless it is an absolute emergency. If you’re keen to know more, go do your research.**************************************************************************
Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett BSc in Architecture. She spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this Mamapumpkin blog since over 10 years ago and thereafter returned to the Corporate World stronger than ever. Her last job as Country Director of a British Railway Signalling organisation saw her getting ill with an aortal and mitral heart valve regurgitation and early stage cancer. Through her journey from working to not working to working again, she sets out to prove to all women that they can do anything and everything that they set out to do; as long as they have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with oodles of love, passion and integrity.
Despite being ill, she has grown a network marketing business from very little knowledge and experience in the otherwise infamously known MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, racing from an income of ZERO to RM 100,000 monthly in merely 2 years. She is a firm believer of the MLM business model but realises the pitfalls too and understands how and why the majority of people would shy away (or zoom far away) from any MLM business.
She is now pondering the title of her new book, From Zero to 100,000 RM monthly in 2 years and has a sequel in the pipeline with the aim of helping real professionals succeed in the World of MLM. Always the giver, Mamapumpkin has supported orphans for over 30 years and has now extended her care to the sick, single mothers, and even struggling families. She believes that with the MLM business model, we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world.
A beautiful life without limits.
Mamapumpkin currently manages the Homeschooling Hub Malaysia on Facebook. She also runs Working Women Malaysia (not THAT kind of Working Women!), Mamapumpkin - Creating A Life of Abundance, and Funky Moms on Facebook to offer REAL support to all women who want career and life success. She is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially free has enabled her to travel the world anytime anywhere doing anything, and she spends most of her day to day with her children, reading and supporting other women.
