Mamapumpkin???

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A crazy, demented Mom who cares full time, alone, without any help, for an even crazier preschooler AND a baby with a boob addiction problem.

She writes anything that comes out of her head, mostly without thinking first, which almost always gets her into trouble (according to her husband, whom she considers the love of her life.......on a good day).

Her 2 pet monkeys drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7. Day after Day.....and by the way, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she's Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com

Having a 5 year old kid on holiday

Is enough to send any Mom to *biting fingernails*……….fill in the blanks.

Well, if you had a kid like my Tee, you’d be on the brink of insanity and praying for school to start. And thank goodness it starts in a week because I am at the end of my tether! I cannot even believe I have lasted 7 weeks of Tee being at home every day all day with construction noise above, lack of sleep and a sick T2!!

Anyways……I love the new NDSi as it keeps her quiet. For once, something in this world can shut my daughter up. Not even the cane shuts her up, OK? When there are too many worms up her backside, I shout at her to ZEN. And this means she has to do this with some deep breathing for at least 3 minutes.

Hahaha…I must try this on my nearly 4 year old too! He does not know the meaning of “Walk” or “Sit” but thankfully, he’s in daycare :P

Hahaha! Cute little Tee. You could challenge her to 4 minutes and then 5, and then 6 and so on.. bribe her with something. Quick! For your sanity, you need to extend it beyond 3 mins ok.

This school holiday has been a blur for me. Surprisingly I wasn’t even half as stressed as I was in the school hols past. Perhaps it’s got to do with the hubs taking a long year-end leave from work.. you know, having someone else to bear the burden of the stress, means that you will only feel half the stress! You really should work out something with the hubs. He should try to take his leave to coincide with the school hols.. if possible. :)
