The onset of 2012

I’m not sure if the moon location is out of sync but lately, I have been extremely stressed and moody. And it turns out that many of my friends are having bad days too! It MUST have something to do with the constellation and the universe and the moon….
Yesterday, I braved taking the girls for Mandarin class and this, for me, is a tough, tough feat as it clashes with T2’s sleep times. Thus I had to bring a sleeping baby in her car seat (with 2 hands because if I carry it with one hand, it reaches the ground as I am SO SHORT) up a staircase with 2 heavy bags slung across my shoulders. Tee had to cross the street by herself and we made it in one piece. Phew!
I couldn’t bring the helper because she had to cook dinner. And when I returned home, I realised she hadn’t cooked dinner following the recipe book. It was all very clear when I left but she chose to take the short cut way and did it her own way. I was livid. She gave me the excuse that she did not understand the recipe. I reminded her that if she wasn’t sure of anything that she should just ASK. She has full access to the phone. She even has her own handphone. There is no excuse. Thus I had to salvage our dinner in a rush because the Hubs would not have been happy as I had not been with a crap dinner.
Earlier, Tee had lost my Evita Peroni hairband in the shopping mall and a lady whom I was supposed to meet did not show up and did not call nor sms to say she wasn’t coming. I can’t believe how rude some people are!
Today, same thing. I had to lug car seat and baby and Tee again to Mandarin class and cross the street again. Let’s hope it doesn’t rain because knowing my arse luck, it is just what will happen.
There is construction above our unit at home and it is so blinking loud that none of us can sleep least of all T2. And just when I was hoping that she could sleep at Mandarin class, there is construction here too! My poor baby hasn’t slept since 730am. She is cranky and tired. Mommy is cranky and tired.
I have more rants but T2 has started wailing again……..

Just hang on there. If this comforts you, babies finally konk out….just as matter of when, and if that happens before mummy does!

there will always be days when nothing seems to go rite…but hang in there ya..things will always be better too

try the baby sling…is really good as then you will have both hands free. Best of all baby will sleep through everything coz she’s snug in there.
