Mamapumpkin???

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A crazy, demented Mom who cares full time, alone, without any help, for an even crazier preschooler AND a baby with a boob addiction problem.

She writes anything that comes out of her head, mostly without thinking first, which almost always gets her into trouble (according to her husband, whom she considers the love of her life.......on a good day).

Her 2 pet monkeys drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7. Day after Day.....and by the way, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she's Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com

Smelly ears in babies

baby1

My little baby of 4 months has been suffering from SES (Smelly Ear Syndrome) ever since she was born. She is so full of shit that it oozes out of her ears. For the longest time, I would clean and clean her ears with cotton buds and baby oil until they got red, yet the smell persists. Finally, I googled and discovered.

Thank you, Google. You are truly amazing.

Apparently, smelly ears in babies are incredibly common. It’s funny because I never experienced that with Tee. Never. The story goes that when milk dribbles down their mouth, sometimes it trickles into their ears and then sits in there for…..forever. Yup. As gross as it sounds, my baby has a cheese factory going on inside her tiny ears. *EEEEEWWWWEEE!!!!!*

If only we could make some money out of her cheese factory. Anyone want some pure cheese? What I need is a mini hoover to suck that darn cheese out……vvvvooooooommmm………….vvoommm….vvvooomm…….vvvvoooomm…

The other day, a large sized piece of nose booger (and I mean LARGE) fell out of T2’s ear and the Hubs and I wondered if Tee had purposefully planted one of her boogers there. You can never tell with kids but when asked, we identified that she was innocent. What else could it be?

One of T2’s ear produce!!! *EEEEWWWWEEEE!!!!!*

The size of it was bigger than the largest piece of booger you could ever get from an adult. How does such a tiny ear produce such large amounts of cheese???? OK, I know. I’m really grossing you out now. I shall stop. Amen.

tell you a ‘secret’. I keep a box of Amber’s momentoes, birth cards, first jar of baby food, an envelope of her hair sheds and the most ‘precious’ of all the a ‘nose booger’ stuck on a cotton bud. Wanna see ? Shall I post it ?

Oh, I never heard about it before. But the nurse in the hospital did tell me that I have to prevent milk, water, etc to flow inside the ears. Otherwie, the ears would have infection then.
