Mamapumpkin???

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A crazy, demented Mom who cares full time, alone, without any help, for an even crazier preschooler AND a baby with a boob addiction problem.

She writes anything that comes out of her head, mostly without thinking first, which almost always gets her into trouble (according to her husband, whom she considers the love of her life.......on a good day).

Her 2 pet monkeys drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7. Day after Day.....and by the way, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she's Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com

Teaching Stay at Home Moms how to start a profitable blog

For the longest time, I’ve wanted to start a blog to do just this. I know that there are many Moms out there who would like to earn an income stream from home yet haven’t a clue about the first things they need to do in order to start a blog, let alone a profitable blog. It really isn’t easy being a Stay at Home Mom, what more if you have 3 kids without any help!

But I’ve always believed that with sheer determination, anything is possible. For example, if you had 3 kids and no time, then you’d need to make a little time. Perhaps you cannot afford to spend an hour a day working on your own personal project, but you could spend an hour a week, or an hour per month! It will take longer for sure for you to get to where you want, but at least you’d be working towards a goal that will take you there rather than sit back and do nothing.

I started blogging 3 years ago with no intentions of making money. I didn’t even know it was possible then. A year later, I was earning US$1,000 per month for a few months through sheer luck and lots of sleepless nights which saw me spending it all when we made a trip to the US. Soon after, the internet arena altered and making money online wasn’t so easy and it still isn’t today because Google has clamped down hard on the virtual world. BUT although it isn’t easy, it is still possible. One just needs to work hard and keep at it so the blog can grow exponentially. By the way, I don’t earn US$1,000 anymore but I’d like to see myself slowly building up my income stream to that level again. And then more!
