Nana’s talent for sewing
By bigpumpkin | July 13, 2009
My mother has incredible talent for many things of the arts including tatting, crochet, sewing, knitting, floral arrangement, makeup, cross-stitch, counselling, life and so much more. If she only made money out of all her hobbies, she’d be a very wealthy woman.
Since the day Tee was born, Nana had already made a patchwork duvet for her followed by countless cardigans, tops, hand sewn sparklies onto clothes, customised designs, all for the love of the little one. Just for the record, she wanted to sew another patchwork blanket for the new baby but Tee fiercely forbids it.
Her most recent project was a line of sequins on this pair of track pants that we got from Mothercare. Just plain boring track pants transformed into groovy slacks with a sparkly rainbow!

Check it out! It even has her initial ‘T’ at the bum! (err…which is not very clear in this photo unfortunately)

not easy to handle the small sequins. Nana really has patience but I guess it’s the love she has for Tee & you that prompt her fingers working.
