….Talk is cheap….take it with a pinch of salt!
This pregnancy, the Hubs has been very lazy. He hasn’t been out ONCE to satisfy my pregnancy cravings, mostly because I was vomiting so badly at the beginning and then didn’t really have cravings that sent me into murdering zones, and now he just takes for granted that I DO NOT have any cravings.
I can bet my bottom dollar with you that IF I’d only been with him for 10 months and not 10 years, he’d be out in a jiffy to get me some of that nasi lemak. It wouldn’t even matter if he didn’t know how to get there. Beg, borrow or steal, he’d get it for me.
Bah! That’s what 10 years of marriage does to you, never mind that I’m pregnant. I’ll lick my wounds and console myself that I’m badly diabetic so can’t eat it anyway.
Double Bah!
Once upon a time, I designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, I clean poop and am student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, I have certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....
To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.
This blog is about me, Mamapumpkin. A crazy, demented Mom who cares full time, alone, without any help, for an even crazier preschooler AND a baby with a boob addiction problem. *sniff* Someone, please get me a chair.......
I write anything that comes out of my head, mostly without thinking first, which almost always gets me into trouble (according to my husband, also known as the love of my life.......on a good day).
My pet monkeys drive me towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.
Gotta love it.

I don’t believe it! If you ask, I am positively 1000% sure, he’ll go get it for you! It’s something to do with the male ego you see.. it makes them feel wanted and needed. Heheheh

I have one at home too. Aren’t these husbands lucky?? I have to always remind him that he is very lucky that I didn’t have weird cravings during both pregnancies. Then, I’ll torment him with other stuff..hahaha.
Hang in there, woman. Once the babe is out, you can have ALL the nasi lemak in the world. But by that time, it will be different.

Oh… i remember my second pregnancy, hospitalised at 26 1/2 weeks for ten days, and then have to be confined to the bed for the rest of the time. BUT soooooooo “wai sik” for Swensens ice-cream. So what to do? I will walk 10 m from my bed to my apartment lift, down the lift and then another 10 m to the car. My hubs will then have to drop me RIGHT at the doorstep of Swensens at Liang Court. And then pick me right from the doorstep again. Talk about Cravings….
