Tee comes home everyday with interesting food stories to tell. She is very fussy with food and makes demands on what she wants for breakfast and snack every day before bed. If she gets bread and jam, she would moan that she is soooooooo sick of bread and jam.

Can you believe it?

The Hubs can’t be arsed in pandering to her demands but my maternal instincts are softer. I almost feel obliged to feed her well everyday. Something healthy, nutritious and scrumptious. I know what it’s like to eat yucky food so I respect her wishes to a certain extent. Imagine eating the same thing everyday!

The Hubs will give her bread and jam everyday if he could help it. I think that’s cruel!!

Lately, Tee has figured out a way to eat what she wants at school by sharing her food with her friends. The other day, she brought some sad looking shaped fried eggs (a rabbit, a house and a teddy bear) that the Hubs had painfully prepared for her but because it looked rather unappetizing (more like diseased amoebas), she chose not to eat it and offered it to her boyfriend instead. How sweet…..He didn’t want it but he did offer her his ham and cheese sandwiches just so she wouldn’t go hungry.

Some days, she steals her friend’s Frosties. Some days it’s cookies. Some days, I hear stories of how she protected her boyfriend’s grapes from 2 hungry boys who only wanted her boyfriend’s grapes!!! It’s so fun hearing her school food stories everyday and listening to who brought what and who gave who what. Most of the time, she shares her food when she doesn’t like what she has.

I think so anyway…….
