Thrice now, Tee has asked for some raw carrots. She has NEVER liked raw carrots so this is really a surprise for me. She is influenced by the TV and possibly from school but hey, I’m not complaining. I call her my little bunny and she crunches on even more raw carrots. Without any dip.

Many people don’t associate carrots with Vitamin C but more Vitamin A, yet carrots contain about 15% of your daily Vitamin C requirements! Carrots also contain 15% of your daily value of Vitamin K responsible for helping proper bone growth and blood coagulation. Besides that, carrots have Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Folate and Panthothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Sodium, Zinc, Copper, Selenium, Potassium and Manganese.

Not bad for eating such a small amount of something.

The best part? Carrots are a great snack with negligible fat!
