Mamapumpkin???

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A crazy, demented Mom who cares full time, alone, without any help, for an even crazier preschooler AND a baby with a boob addiction problem.

She writes anything that comes out of her head, mostly without thinking first, which almost always gets her into trouble (according to her husband, whom she considers the love of her life.......on a good day).

Her 2 pet monkeys drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7. Day after Day.....and by the way, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she's Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com

How to make money from a blog – Part 2

Now that you’ve got your blog up and running with at least 30 posts, you can either invite all your friends to start visiting your blog or you can sit back and do nothing if you’re writing purely for search engine magnets. Well, that’s not true. You should still invite your friends to read your blog because your blog ratings can only get better when more people read your blog. So do whatever it takes to get as many readers as possible to read your blog. Start relationships with other bloggers and ask for help.

My blog is more of an outlet for me as I have so little adult interaction so I don’t do any blog marketing, it’s a personal decision. But if I had a maid and wanted to become a serious blogger, then I’d do some blog marketing.

Once your blog is at least 3 months old, sign up with all the blog agents such asĀ  Blogitive, Pay Per Post, Blogsvertise, Text Link Ads, Pay U 2 Blog, Blogging Ads, Review Me, Smorty, Sponsored Links, and the list goes on and one and on……

Not everyone will approve you, mind you, but don’t be disheartened if they don’t. You can always come back in a month to try again once your blog gains readership. 2 years ago, I never would have expected this many people to read my blog but obviously over time, this is a natural progression. But you need to work at it i.e. write more!

Once you’ve signed up with the blog agents, read all their terms and conditions and write down all your user names and passwords because trust me, you will forget. Make a note of all the terms and conditions till you know them inside out so that you will not default.

In my next post, I will tell you more about the blog agents. :-)
