High water bill this month

Being a full time stay at home Mom can really drive you insane. Take it from me. I swear upon it.
Today, I left the kettle to fill in the sink and came out to the living room to continue playing with Tee. Funnily, whilst we were playing for half an hour, I kept looking at the kitchen worried that I’d left the stove on. But everytime I looked at the stove, it was empty and I kept reminding myself not to worry as there was nothing cooking.
Finally, Tee wanted a drink so I got my ass up to get her some water and lo and behold, the water tap had been running and overflowing the kettle for the last half hour.
Honestly. I kicked myself so hard.
