A typical day with my four year old
By bigpumpkin | December 2, 2008
Honestly? I don’t know how they do it. These supermoms abroad, the ones without any help. Not only abroad, there are many in KL too, but at least here there is an option if you can afford it. I have survived four tiring years with Tee without help and I am In. The. Zone.
FOUR YEARS!!! I have heard that on average, four years is the benchmark when one starts going crazy. I am on my way there. For sure.
Yesterday, I brought Tee to school from 10am to 4pm (she schools and I work, but we’re both out all day till 4pm). Then we rush home and I start dinner preparations. Tee helps me. Because of that, this process took 2 hours. Then she had dinner and a shower, stories and bed. I was free by 8pm - Glorious!
Today, we were out again from 10am to 4pm and when we came home, I decided that I wanted to spend more quality time with her so I whipped up that pumpkin pasta thing and for the adult’s dinner, we had an instant pizza. This short cut cost me half an hour. We did the same thing and were in bed by 8pm.
But guess what? Because I spent that quality time with Tee, I am fucking exhausted now.
All I want is bed ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…………….
But I have so much work to do!!! Caffeine shots, here I come.
Will someone tell me how I can post a video up so I can display evidence of how energetic this girl is?
