Mamapumpkin???

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A crazy, demented Mom who cares full time, alone, without any help, for an even crazier preschooler AND a baby with a boob addiction problem.

She writes anything that comes out of her head, mostly without thinking first, which almost always gets her into trouble (according to her husband, whom she considers the love of her life.......on a good day).

Her 2 pet monkeys drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7. Day after Day.....and by the way, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she's Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com

Have you heard of the flat belly diet???

Man……I was awoken this morning at 6am by an email, yes, an email, not a phone call; then spent the entire hour trying to figure out how to respond to this email. It was about the flat belly diet. Oh my goodness, I was so tired but excited and then frustrated that I had limited time to try to figure out how I could get MYSELF a flat belly. So I googled the flat belly diet and learned that the this is the latest craze in the US of A, a new diet based on a diet of MUFA – monounsaturated Fatty Acids, something that HAS to be in every single meal you eat.

MUFA helps your belly stay slimmer than it is, apparently. Where can you get MUFA? Olive oil, sunflower oil, flaxseed oil, avocados, nuts and seeds etc. No wonder my belly ain’t flat!

The diet also suggests eating whole grains, fruits, vegetables, legumes, and limiting meat intake. Meal plans are set at 1600 Calories per day, another reason why I am larger than life. And of course, exercise!!! Exercise that includes some cardio and some strength training. Sound new? I don’t think so.

Whatever the case, I’m going to try out the Flat Belly Diet today!
