No more birthday parties from here on

Yes, we decided last night, the Hubs and I. What would really make him happy, and me too really, is that we no longer attend the many birthday parties that we have taken Tee to in the past. She will just have to adjust and learn that we cannot attend the crazy 30 or so birthday parties every year, maybe we’ll attend 2-3 parties next year but that’s it. No more.

This year, birthday parties have exhausted us. Our family life is suffering because of all the time spent at birthday parties. No more.

If you’re planning to invite us for a birthday party, be prepared that we will decline. It’s nothing personal. We just need more time to chill at home. It is our priority right now.
