Hari Raya at the Equatorial Hotel

We somehow have an affinity to the Equatorial Hotel. Despite being more than 20 years old, the hotel is still a big magnet that draws us. This Raya, since I was ill, all family Raya plans were abandoned and we took Tee to the Equatorial Hotel instead, in her baju kurung. And tiara……and then on top of her tiara, there were hair clips. Purple and yellow. Pink baju kurung. Orange croc on one side and green on the other. My self esteem had to be very high that day to acknowledge her as my daughter and be seated on the same table.
And she insisted on wearing a bib, accusing me again! of not bringing one. Well, I’ve got news for you, young Missy! You’re four YEARS old, not four MONTHS old!!!

wakakakakakaa…the clip on the tiara bit is errr..i dun think i will allow that! wow it’s been some time since i’ve been to the Equatorial…i remember their high tea spread was quite good..
