Do audio books work for a four year old?

I have in the past bought at least 2 audio books for Tee but unfortunately (for me, that is), she still prefers my voice. Blek! A friend of mine even bought her one of those press button books where it electronically tells the story so Mommy can get a rest. Didn’t work. Blek!
Now that they’re offering free audio books, I wonder if I should give it another try?
