….Talk is cheap….take it with a pinch of salt!
Tee, my four year old, has had the same boyfriend for almost two years now. That’s long for a kid. But what can I say? My girl is loyal. And so far her boyfriend is too. I have big fears though, because she thinks her boyfriend will be hers forever and ever, whilst we all know that is unlikely to be true. Even if they do end up together, there will be some heartbreak in the interim. I think.
Which male species won’t want to sew his oats?
Anyway, these two, Tee and her boyfriend, are the sweetest little things. They whisper sweet nothings into each others ears in private, they hold hands, they hug, they wrestle, they lie on each other, they play rough, they play Mommy and Daddy, they force their parents to buy each other little gifts, they write cards to each other, they call each other, they share some classes together and essentially, they take care of each other. At all times. It is truly amazing.
He never fails to bring her her shoes whenever she needs to put them on. He always welcomes her advances and the reason she loves him to death? “He does everything I tell him to.” I hope his mother never hears of this.
Sometimes, the two of them would sit hugging each other on a couch watching TV like an old married couple.
*sigh* I just know that my daughter will be in for a big rejection some day…….
Tee hugging her boyfriend. She just can’t seem to get enough of him!
What is she doing? Kissing him? Smelling him?
It’s a pity I can’t put his face up because he is one cute fella.
Once upon a time, I designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, I clean poop and am student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, I have certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....
To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.
This blog is about me, Mamapumpkin. A crazy, demented Mom who cares full time, alone, without any help, for an even crazier preschooler AND a baby with a boob addiction problem. *sniff* Someone, please get me a chair.......
I write anything that comes out of my head, mostly without thinking first, which almost always gets me into trouble (according to my husband, also known as the love of my life.......on a good day).
My pet monkeys drive me towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.
Gotta love it.
