    Valuation of my wedding gold

    By bigpumpkin | July 24, 2008

Last month, I went to reset my diamond ring so that I could actually wear it again since my finger has doubled in size since I got engaged. At the same time, I brought some gold to be valued with the wholesale jeweller (they sell to most of the jewellers in town) because these were items that my Mother in Law had given to me on my wedding that I would never ever wear. I wasn’t planning to sell them, I was just curious.

It turns out, the gold I brought was worth so, so, so, so, so, so, so………… much more than I had ever imagined!!!! I wanted to sell it immediately!!! But alas, it was of sentimental value so back into the drawers it goes as a family heirloom. Yet, with my newfound knowledge of gold, I now want to buy gold coins for investment purposes. Imagine how much money I can make when the price goes up even higher in the future! *rubs hands*
