On cardio machines
By bigpumpkin | July 7, 2008
You know, I have always wondered if the treadmill or the stepper or one of those elliptical machines work best for my body and still haven’t come to a conclusion. I personally feel that the elliptical machine is quite easy because your arms and legs kind of help each other and your weight keeps the machine moving. The stepper is the hardest of all because I have a large behind to lift. That’s why I got the treadmill. ![]()

Eliptical is best cos it burns most calories with least impact on knees and back…

“…I have a large behind to lift” You are such a mess….hehehhee. I am sure it’s not so. I often wonder if we should have gotten the treadmill instead. I think we didn’t do it because I used it when I was actually going to a gym and it hurt my arthritis ridden knees. The stepper was too hard for me or maybe I was lazy.
Just my $0.02
The elliptical does burn a whole lot of calories but I have to disagree it is not easy. Yes you can set it on an easy setting but raise that resistance and you’re doomed
