Chilli Padi Mouth

If you do not want a child that has a mouth like Tee, then for goodness sake, when you are pregnant, stay clearly AWAY from chillies. I am a chilli freak and am now paying for the consequences.
Here is just one of the many examples of why I feel this way.
Whilst driving in a thunderstorm to Ikea that day, my backseat driver goes,
Mommy! Drive slower!
I ignored her with an Mmm… as I was trying very hard to concentrate on the road. It is not everyday that I travel to Ikea and what more, the bloody roads are always changing. Worse, the rain was pouring down on the windscreen that I could barely see the road signs. I took my chances and drove slowly, trying my best to navigate with some intelligence, although with a squeaky voiced backseat driver, that task sometimes get blurred.
Tee: Mommy! You can’t see the windscreen. You better drive slower.
Me: Yes, I know. Hush.
Tee: It’s very dangerous. The rain is too heavy. Go slower.
Me: Yes, OK, be quiet. I need to find the road. (I was stuck somewhere after the Penchala Link near some underpass crossing the LDP and couldn’t tell if the roads were one way or two way)
Tee: Mommy, I think you better drive slowly because you can’t see the windscreen. (God! Talk about a broken record! She’s worst than my mother-in-law!!!)
Me: Tee, you better keep quiet because Mommy needs to concentrate or we’ll get lost. (My temperature rising by the minute and just then, I realised that I’d taken the wrong turn and was heading towards 1-Utama rather than the turn off to Ikea. Fuck.)
Me, mumbling to myself silently, shit, shit, shit…..going at snail’s pace wondering what to do next. Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit. Do I reverse? Do I make a big round? How can I reverse when I curse all those who reverse at a junction? Shit, shit, shit.
Tee: Mommy, why are you stopping? If you stop in the middle of the road, the car behind will bang you.
Me: JUST KEEP QUIET! SEE??? I’M LOST NOW!!! YOU BETTER SHUT UP!!!
Tee: SEE??? SEE??? I TOLD YOU TO DRIVE SLOWLY!!! THE WINDSCREEN IS BLUR SO YOU NEED TO DRIVE SLOWLY!!! I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU! MOMMY, I TOLD YOU!!! (if there is one thing this girl has, she’s got balls)
Resigned to the fact that my little toddler was being super precocious and very much like her own mother *sigh*, I couldn’t help but smile in my heart despite the fact that I should have kicked her out of the car right then. Sometimes, I really don’t know how to be angry when my little one makes me laugh.

This is what Tee says whenever we talk to her in an irritated tone.
“Please talk nicely. Don’t talk rough. I am only a child…..”
Can die or not???!!! Who in the world taught her how to say that? Fess up!

Luckily i didn’t get to eat anything.. when i was pregnant with my brat..
but how come she still so talkative eh..??
