    Crystals popping

    By bigpumpkin | April 22, 2008

Lately, my crystals have all been popping. I’m not quite sure why. I haven’t banged them or been rough with them. In fact, I wear them and treat them extremely kindly, yet, one by one, they seem to be exploding. WTF!!! Thousands of dollars for exploding crystals?! I’m now wondering if they’re all fake! How can this be? Also, some of them have been changing with inclusions growing within them. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Any crystal experts here?

Speaking of which, I took my diamond ring to Selberan to alter since my finger has, you know, doubled in size. There was just no way I could’ve done a Hansel and Gretel, I love food too much. So eat me, witch!

Guess how much they quoted me? RM2600 for a bloody white gold band!!! (reason being the price of gold today is RM150 per gram, something like that). I know, I know……everyone will say, why go to Selberan? Because we knew people there and thought that they would be more trusted, that’s why. But at this price? I’m chucking the ring back into the safe.

Can’t you just have your ring sized and take the diamond back till the day they fit it onto the ring? Again, it is better to go to a goldsmith that you know.

haha…like Vien, i also think that it is not worth the money to alter la….wait till u can wear that again (or pass down to Tee). Topping up with some money, go get yourself another new fashion one!
