Ponteng school!

My little rascal got to ponteng today because she threw up a great big fuss this morning refusing to get out of bed. She whined and cried and whined that school was not fun…..school was full of teaching…..school was boring…..whined, whined, whined. I could not get her out of bed. Yet, when I usually pick her up from school everyday, she is having so much fun that she doesn’t want to leave!
Full of nonsense, I tell you! Furthermore, she has been asking me daily if I love her even though I am going to have a new baby. Awww……..
Since I spent all night waking up and going to the toilet to piss, I had no energy to fight with her so I said, “OK, if you stay home today, home is NOT going to be fun. I am NOT going to entertain you. Understood?”
That was music to her ears, she was so happy.
Later, when she spotted some Smarties in the fridge, she said that she promises me, absolutely promises me that she would go to school tomorrow because tomorrow, school would be fun as they are going on a field trip to the fire station. She also promised that she will go to school for many more days and then helped herself to the Smarties.
*sigh* I allowed her 3 and reverted to being Monster Mom. It’s hard though because she is such a loveable, adorable little girl! She makes me laugh so much! *sigh*
My lil’ spoilt brat…….

hmmm… after reading your post… i realise tat Xuan didn’t want to go to school last week coz i think the school must hv started to teach & tat make her bored!! EEeee yah!! like tat mai mean Xuan lie to me???
