Booking a trip to the USA

Man…..this trip to the US is such a bitch to plan! The travel agent came back today with the air fares alone and it was RM26,000 (~USD9,000) - what?!! Ouch!! And we won’t even talk about flight time. With a toddler at that. *sigh* On one hand, I’m thinking, you’ve got to be really brave to do this trip. Just do it. Then, a whole month out of the comfort of my warm bedroom, a whole month without my laptop (I’m NOT carrying extra weight on a 40 hour journey!), a whole month without home cooked food and perhaps a whole month of toddler crankiness due to the new changed environment! Hmmm……..
Maybe we shouldn’t go. Oh, but we only live once!!! If only it was as easy as booking Las Vegas Hotels…..we wouldn’t have to sweat then.

RM26k for econ or biz class? Inc the connections to Florida ya? It’s damn cold here in NYC now. Below OC, 32F. Brrr!! Don’t forget my breast pump, ya!! Forecasted to snow on Fri. Absolutely miserable weather now.

Japan Airlines service is quite good. At least you get to transit at Narita. More stuff to see and I’m sure it will keep Tee entertained. Didn’t know you guys are gonna be gone for a month..now, that’s a loooong vacation.

Where in US will you be visiting? Let me know how a toddler behaves on a 24 hr flight….I might as well learn something since we might be going back to Pg next year.
