Tee knows what she wants
By bigpumpkin | January 31, 2008
Those of you who’ve been following know that we are contemplating a trip to the US this year. It’s going to be a helluva expensive trip and for that reason, we are thinking really hard about it. Like concrete hard. I keep doing the simple harmonic motion dance from we can’t pass up this opportunity of a lifetime! to we won’t die if we missed the rocket launch…..*sigh*
So we ineffectually pass the decision to Tee, who always says she wants to go to New York and Fowida to see the wocket launch. We’ve sold her the idea of how absolutely wonderful a new house with a garden would be, how much freedom a new car can buy us, but no. She’s made her mind up. It’s all three options together (isn’t she a little dreamer?) or the wocket launch. We’ve even asked OTHER people to sell her the benefits of a new house or car. The stubborn blood in her is as thick as bull’s corn beef. She talks about visiting the wocket all the time and tells the whole world that she is going to see the wocket launch.
Bursting her bubble would be so painful. *sob*
In the next two weeks, I’ll have to search for cheap Florida accommodation and work out a realistic budget to know exactly how much we need to come out of this trip alive. And since we’re already heading that direction, I might as well search for Discount Disney World Tickets too!

I don’t know how that happened. Can you delete this repeat comment from the wrong post?

Good Luck with that. Now I feel bad. We’re only planning a 4 day trip to Disneyland and I am the one who is stressing. It just pains me to spend money but it won’t come anywhere close to how much you guys’ trip will cost. I know I am no help. Okay let me find something positive to say……Uhmmm…..at least your daughter will have wonderful lifelong memories to keep throughout her life. Family vacations are a must. You can’t just work work work and not relax and enjoy life. Right? So go for it. You cannot let Tee down. Spend spend spend
