    House viewing at Danau Villa

    By bigpumpkin | January 19, 2008

This is another house we have viewed called Danau Villa - it is located at the fringe of Taman Desa and is developed by Faber Group. There are 60 semi-Ds in the gated development and the houses are nice. But the whole idea is to get away from paying a monthly fee to a ‘management’ so we can’t get screwed again. *sigh*

The location is reasonable, not to far away from town and very close to Mid Valley. And there is a garden!!! It’s also a 3 storey house (can’t see in picture) so lots of stairs and walking. Price RM1.5 million although developer’s price was RM700k - if only we’d bought it then!

I think we’re going to be stuck where we are for awhile……..until that windfall happens *smile*

Danau Villa is so near me! LOL! Yeah it was cheaper when it was still under construction, but the price has sky-rocketed! I don’t think it’s fully gated yet lor, coz sometimes my friends and I would drive in and we never get stopped. No guardhouse also, the last I saw. If I’m not mistaken, it’s not individual title…I heard it was strata title, but then I could be wrong.

      Come let’s go yumcha!

Aiyo, if in Hong Kong, HK$1.5 million will get you a super small unit with probably 1 super small bedroom. And if you are one fat lady, you’ll probably find that you can’t close the door if you don’t squeeze yourself flat against a wall or something and tuck in your tummy!!

ooo….nice! Taman Desa is a great place to stay too. BTW, have you checked out Taman Yarl(OUG)? Lots of nice and new bungalows and semi-dees.

Gated means must pay monthly fees. No?

Not sure where the exact location is eventho’ I’ve lived at Tmn Desa all my life. But then again, that place is ever changing. I think I get lost in there every time I’m back at KL. Since LaundryAmah indicated it is near the mosque..I think I have a rough idea. Any house near a mosque is a no-no. It’s like getting wake-up calls every friggin 4-5 hrs!
