Mamapumpkin???

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A crazy, demented Mom who cares full time, alone, without any help, for an even crazier preschooler AND a baby with a boob addiction problem.

She writes anything that comes out of her head, mostly without thinking first, which almost always gets her into trouble (according to her husband, whom she considers the love of her life.......on a good day).

Her 2 pet monkeys drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7. Day after Day.....and by the way, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she's Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com

Accesorize your home with….

….these curtain rods!!!!!!! As an architect, I’ve always loved wrought iron as a material and specify it whenever I get a chance. On front door grills, main outdoor gates, balustrades, fences, furniture and certainly curtain rods.

Aren’t they beautiful???

Apart from glorify your home with soft luxurious fabric, an ornamented curtain rod definitely adds character to every opening. Just don’t try using one as a chastity belt.

This star shaped curtain rod is Chrismassy and definitely fun for older babies and younger toddlers to identify with. And when you’re finally bored of them and onto your next, you can always dismantle them all (assuming you have lots of openings!) and use them as vertical star spires at your sister’s wedding. All you need to do is to link them with a string of flowers or leaves and voila! Instant wedding decoration.

I would certainly go for something more curvy and lovely, like the acorn leaves curtain rod. Something more timeless, yet beautiful. For I am no horse or chicken lover nor am I an iron bear or moose lover!

Allow me to share a tip. There is a special secret wrought iron garden gate that you need to find in the website that will allows you a discount. Go to the home page and find some way half way under Featured Products, a link that will lead you to some secrets. What are you waiting for? If you’re decorating your new home soon, don’t wait!
