For the love of hiking and hiking boots
By bigpumpkin | October 31, 2007
I have this childhood friend who is and Indian girl whom I’ve known since I was twelve. She went to England to study Biotechnology for four years, decided she didn’t like it and did medicine instead for another six years. Then she wanted to speciliase and that was another three years. Having lived in Scotland practically all her life, she finally found the man of her dreams who is Eastern European but speaks with a hilarious Scottish accent. The both of them are a blast to be with because they will not stop making you laugh.
And they love to hike. They just love, love, love……….the outdoors. They’d travel to South Africa to hike and go all over the world where there are jungles to explore. I think they’re mad. But they don’t have children and deserve to be mad. Three years ago, they migrated to New Zealand after staying in Scotland for eighteen years. They are loving it there, hiking all the time. My friend has a collection of hiking boots but guess what? Since theyr’e such fanatic lovers of the outdoors, her husband is getting her another pair of hunting boots this Christmas. I asked, how many does she need!? And his reply was HEY! This is like fashion for us. We’re not interested in Vogue fashion! Doc Martens and Converse are cool!
He even asked me if I wanted a pair since there was free shipping if he spent more than a hundred bucks. Maybe he got some free coupons for them. Haha! Because I’d have recommended he got my friend a diamond *wink*.

Hi! Now this time, your blog loads much faster. So, what have you done to it?
Sorry, I have to ramble on an unrelated topic here but I tried replying to your e-mail but it bounced back. Strange!
About my book, if you can call it that… Nothing great-lah. Just a compilation of words uttered by my toddler when he started to babble. You can try it at www.lulu.com. You can publish whatever you want. Just don’t expect any sales, though. We are not Rowling after all. Ha! Ha!
