    Technology’s pulling at my leg!

    By bigpumpkin | September 25, 2007

You know, the thing about technology, is that it’s supposed to be the tool that frees us Moms from the grinds of Motherhood.

Dishwashers (for removing stubborn stains) - tick.

Dryers (for drying children) - tick.

Idiot Box (for babysitting) - tick.

Wheels (for transporting children to the next city. And leaving them there) - tick.

Computers (for gaining access to the world wide web) - tick.

Blogging (for maintaining some form of sanity) - tick.

    Internet (for researching) - tick.

Broadband (for speed) - tick. Wait.

This isn’t happening. Broadband? Do we have broadband? Is TM Streamyx broadband? Can someone define broadband and let those TM guys know what it is? Where is there in KL a T-1 leased line with fibre optic cables?

    I’m moving.

How does anyone get any work done around here with snailband lines sold as broadband?

    Yish!
