    Weight loss or inch loss?

    By bigpumpkin | August 16, 2007

At Tee’s Doctor today, I weighed myself with a real weighing machine. Not a wonky one like the one I have at home. My heart skipped a beat at the extra kilos till I pacified myself that perhaps I was building muscle.

    My jeans are certainly looser.

Yesterday, I did 5km on a bike and 2km walking on a treadmill. Within an hour. Monday I did Hatha Yoga for an hour. People have been asking “Have you lost weight? You look like you’ve lost weight.”

I have been trying to control my food intake. It’s been difficult but I keep challenging myself that it is a mind over matter issue and I get there most times. At others, I fail.

I had a cheeseburger and a strawberry sundae for dinner. :-)

    Here we go again…………

good for you. proves that yoga really helps.

Hi Leena, yoga definitely helps. In any case, as long as your input is lower than your output, you will lose weight.

U can do it, my dear! U r entitled to indulge once in a while but make sure u do extra workouts to compensate. Eating healthy & exercise goes hand in hand. As long as you regularly exercise, u wont be over weight! So keep up the good work. Remember dont let emotions get in your way of exercsing & eating healthy.
